As you may have seen in my recent article about the challenges of selling crypto-currency from Coinbase in Australia, I have been seeking further expertise on the best exchanges to buy & sell crypto here in Oz.
I came across some great advice from a bloke on thebitcoin.pub forum, from a chap who was already set himself up for life due to a 200 coin investment almost 10 years ago. Here’s what he had to say…
I buy from Coinbase or sell my ETH and ZCash that I mine via Nanopool.
I use Poleniex, Kraken, Bittrex, Bitfinex, Cryptopia.
To get AU Dollars back in my account I send Bitcoin or Ethereum to my Independent Reserve account then bank transfer it into my Australian bank account after selling on the market.
Good luck and buy, buy, buy I say.
Below is a snapshot of the exchanges that this highly-experienced trader uses to purchase each currency, based on his experiences with the most competitive exchange rates and ease of transaction.
I don’t personally invest in such a broad range of crypto-currencies so haven’t registered for all of these exchanges as yet, but now have exchange accounts with Coinbase, Binance, Coinjar and Independent Reserve. I’ll share more about these exchanges in future posts.
